Hi all. I am currently working at Walmart building bikes. Today I was assembling a bmx bike (single speed) and was running the final checks on the drive train when I noticed something odd: When I pedal in reverse, rather than being able to spin out without moving the wheel, the wheel spun with me. It wasn't a solid spin like I get with pedaling forward, but a weak one, as if something is catching in the hub that shouldn't be. I compared this bike to two other identical bikes and they did not exhibit this problem. (I have a suspicion that this symptom is what developed into a larger problem for another bike that was brought in for repairs with this kind of problem on a larger scale). Since I am uncertain as to when (or if) my sponser will be returning to the job and we need to get the bike out on the racks soon, I thought I'd ask here as to what the problem might be and how to fix it.
