The hardrock is a great bike. Your pretty much paying for the frame because the parts are pretty low end, but that also depends on what model hardrock you choose. Anyway, the frames are right up there in strength with the p series bikes but their geometry and part spec is more suited for recreation trail riding. I know a few guys who use their hardrocks for urban riding as most people would use a p2 or various other aggro bikes. Most people dismiss them because of their low pricepoint, but dont let that fool you. Great bang for the buck.
