There is a subcatagory in General Cycling for Big Rides and Cycling Partners. I think
you could check there.
I don't know any organized rides in the Houston area, but I'd recommend you check
with a few LBSs in the area. thats where I hook up for organized rides up here, they
also should have a list of bike clubs in the area.
I did a search on TXBRA (Texas Bicycle Race assoc) and found this one:

Thats the only Sugarland ride listed but there are alot of Houston rides at
