1. As a 1st bike, don't want to spend an arm and a leg (need them to actually bike).
2. yes, and i get too serious about any hobby, sport i do
3. hell yeah... i even do my own work on my car, motorcycle and race-car (have all the tools and even lift in garage) (I know my way around mechanics... not a problem.
4. There are plenty of scenic roads and lots on the edge of water, where i live (One of the things that got me thinking on getting a good bike and devour road as I used to in the old days.)
Heck... as it is now, i do the equivalent of ~60-100miles on a standing bike @ the gym per week if not more. Instead of wasting my time indoors watching the same display, i figured i get a good bike and enjoy the roads.
