During my last riding stint 20 years ago, I replaced my stock saddle with an Avocet. They were pretty much all the rage then. Hard as a rock but comfortable in a weird sort of way. I put a few 1000 miles on it. It's gone now along with the bike it was on. I'm sad. I see that Avocet is still around but never do I see a mention. Why is that? Not necessarily looking to buy one, just curious.
