This morning, as I pulled to the side of the narrow street the clinic is on, to wait for a hole in the traffic, I heard "phshhh". So then I had to wait a really long time for a big enough hole in the traffic to walk my bike across. Crazy day at work. No lunch, as usual. Working late, knowing that I have to patch a tire. So I finally finish work, go to the basement and patch my tire. I'm pumping the tire up when I start to feel a blast of air on my hand, from the pump. Apparently the seals decided tonight was enough.
You know your spouse is supportive when they agree to drive 20 minutes to bring you another pump, offer a ride home once, and then head home while you get your riding fix.
