I think my favorite bike shop in SJ is the one place near downtown on Market St that sells beach cruisers, among other really old skool rides. The owner seems to be an old hippie that got high the night before for a little bit too long. It's housed in a really old building and it's where I got my first bicycle here in the Bay Area back in 2002.
