merchx amx - how hot of a bike is it. cause i got to hold an unbuilt one (frame/fork/sp) and I totally wanted it.
but now i am faced with the , well, you know, having to actually buy it and pay for it. Don't mention the building it up. The price was good. Better then I have been able to find by googling around.

Also, size - I am maybe a bit over 5'9" (hmm or is it 5"9'?), low 150's lbs but can weight more if I want to carry more on the upper body. I think my in-seam is 33 inches, tight. By tight, I mean, my wife measured me, and I was glad she wasn't my tailor. It come's in a 54 or 57.

I don't want this to be the "how would you build it up?" post. I can do that one later. I am more interested in what people think of the bike - ride, handling, whatever.

I like it, but it aint' cheap. THen the build will cost too.

I am generally in the market for a bike, but I wasn't expecting to get one this year.
my current ride . . road bike, tour bike, tri bike, cross bike, and occasional adventure race bike is a Lemond Propad, , , yah I know.

P.S. is there a price, below which you would just buy a bike or frame? just cause it seemed like a sweet deal?
