teflon chain tube

I see that teflon chain tubes are a popular way to cover up the chain on recumbents:

They also seem to be cheap and easy to make at home:

Unfortunately, it's a few steps short of a fully enclosed chaincase, but they seem so cheap and easy to make that it could be worthwhile to figure out those last few steps.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to mold something to cover the front sprocket and something to cover the rear sprocket that might be easy to connect to the chain tube? Perhaps we can also use telfon. I'm thinking something kinda like this:
