What is it ?
The braking surfaces are milled to improve braking efficiency

Benefits :

* Perfectly parallel braking surfaces
* Brake pads in direct contact with the aluminum
* No shuddering when braking

Process :
After assembly and anodization, the sidewalls of the rim are milled with a diamond point on a digitally controlled machine.
The CD rims are milled, and then coated with a Hard Coat, since the Hard Coat prevents milling of the sidewalls. Although it is milled, a CD rim is not really UB Control
I think by sidewalls he meant sidewalls, since rims have sidewalls and he was talking about the sidewalls of rims. He just happened to say "add" rather than "mill." But yeah sure, feel free to keep up with the condescending sarcasm, because that's really constructive.
