Unnerving at least but potentially dangerous. You should not run into this unless you start getting more aggressive on your corners. It can also happen more easily if your stoker points their toes down especially with older cage style pedals and toe clips. Although it looks like you have clipless pedals from your pic. I thank you for drawing my attention to the cornering issues. I have been using older style cage pedals for the stokers until they get used to using clipless. However, I always make safety my priority and will build this into stoker education!
