I have toe overlap on every road and track bike I've been on. It's normal. What you have to ask yourself is, how much lock can you afford if you're gonna be locking the comp around? The regular langster is a lot less flashy if you plan to lock that thing up outside a lot.
The comp on the other hand, is insanely responsive but not so twitchy on the road that you'll fall over. It took me about a week but now I can go over potholes and make turns no handed. And if I can do it, any idiot can.
