2. I've got the tape in hand, just waiting for time to clean the bike properly and apply the tape. What method did yuo use to get what looks like a nice finish on the seatstays? Did you cut the tape the length of the stay and put the seam on the inside?

3. I will be putting tape on the braking surface since Irun discs. You can only do this with disc brakes.
