I was born in Washington State, in Pullman, where my parents were going to school (Washington State University). Thereafter, I lived in Las Vegas, Tucson, Albuquerque, Seattle, eastern Oregon, western Colorado, and the University of Colorado at Boulder. I came out here when I was 19 to go to school in Pasadena, got married, had children, and never left.
