Yeah.. I'm actually liking the high end Polar stuff because you can add the power bits later as an add on if you want. I don't see myself ever getting serious enough to really warrant something like that, but at least it's there if I want it. Plus I can easily just buy another speed sensor for the Polar and then use it on multiple bikes. I can't really do that with say a Powertap (at least, not for 26" vs. 700c wheels). Plus yeah, the initial cost of a Powertap system is going to preclude me.. Although they do turn up used occasionally.
