I suppose its just me, but what's wrong with patches and hand pumps? One of the places I take my kids and Scout Troop biking has a lot of cactus and goat heads, flats are a fact of life. I am always amazed at the number of CO2s and tubes in the trashcans and sometimes scattered elsewhere because people are too lazy to patch and refill their tires. I guess its just a disposable society we live in. For the few extra minutes it costs me I can pump it up, the message we send our kids is just plain wrong.
