I use them in "pulley" mode in place of a noodle. It's smoother and won't rust like the noodles they replaced.

Don't bother with the Rustoleum version. I bought a can and took them up on their money back guarantee. I was initially going to use the Rustoleum to do some strobe stripes on the fork, but the test piece I did didn't meet my standards.
