After talking with one of the local Specialized shops I changed from the Viper to a Specilaized Avatar 155mm. This was pretty close. I could ride about 25 miles before my sit bones were screaming. I kept this saddle on the bike for a while and settled for 25 miles or less rides. This year I decided I wasn't happy with the short trips and I started a saddle search again. I tried a Terry Fly. It wasn't too comfortable to begin with, but, after 25 miles it hurt less than the Avatar. Unfortunately the more I rode the less comfortable it got. I was trying to decide between the Fizik Alliante or the Brooks B17 or Team Pro. After much debate with all the guys at the lbs I went with the Brooks Team Pro. I'm excited to get home, get the saddle mounted and go for a ride. I hope to have solved my saddle problem.
It is one good looking saddle too!

Welcome to the Brooks club. I'm the proud owner of a B-17. Once you go Brooks, you never go back. Nice color too. I got the black one.
