When I bought my Allez Comp Cr-Mo I noticed that the carbon post was damaged as is yours. The shop replaced the post as it was in that condition because someone at the store over torqued. The damage was caused because the gap in the collar was aligned with the gap in the seat tube. It had to be rotated 180 degrees.
