I was riding with a friend and the one bolt that holds the saddle in place snaped. he was standing and just put his weight on it...he hit the pavement. I guess you think cf can be ridden on after it cracked, but it will fail and just snap when you don't expect it. what I don't understand is why you would buy another cf post. it seems lik3 every few weeks someone starts a thread about problems with cf post...cf post slipping, cf post cracks after years of use, cf post snapped after years of use...and almost every one of these threads end with people saying how great thomson post are. and the masterpiece is lighter than many cf post.
