There's no attacking here--you're making an a$$ of yourself just fine without me, and I'm just calling it like I see it. Other Moto owners seem to be more than capable of having a discussion about their bikes without ranting...

And as far as the "inferiority complex" line goes, the only one oozing inferiority in this discussion, turning a comment about your bike into somethiing "elitist" and "snob"ish, is you. Perhaps you should ask yourself why you're going into a public frenzy because someone doesn't like your bike.

FWIW, I think the Force bike, just like the Record bike, is a good way to get a high-end component group on an OK frame for a great price. I looked at BD for a bike purchase but decided not to, more out of not liking some of the business practices than any issues with the quality of the bike, even though I didn't think the SL was as nimble as a CAAD9 in corners when I rode them--I didn't do any long riding so I don't know about long-ride comfort.

But you don't want a discussion about Motobecane--you want a thread full of positive posts and no dissenting opinions so you can feel good about your purchase. Why does everyone have to love your bike?

The irony of this line in a post about someone else's supposed inferiority complex is really quite funny.
Thought you'd get the joke! I thought it was rather creative with a slight sarcastic overtone. Now back to surgery with you!
