I think we have the same year Miyata 710, T-Mar told me mine was a 1981 at some point. I love that paint color. I paid 200 clams for just the frame and the bike is my commuter, trainer, and everything in between. I built mine up with Sugino touring crankset and 105/MA3 rims. Also put a B17 champion special on that is getting really nice about 1k mi in. Kept those same cool Suntour DT shifters. Great to see someone else with this bike... the craftsmanship seems high and the ride feels plush
