what really did the trick for me is make sure the tire fits
tight on the rim. I mean while uninflated, the tire is not loose on the rim at all; the bead should be tight around the rim. I had to add a bunch of layers of electrical tape under the rim strip for some loosye-goosey Geax Blade tires to seat. i've heard of adding a standard rim strip or 2 under the Stan's strip to build it up some.
the Marathons were so tight it almost didn't need Stan'sealant. they aired right up to 40psi and sat and bubbled a little with no sealant. I think the Cane Creek wheels are more like 26.25 or so... tires are
tight on these rims.
A coworker suggest Carnation Evaporated Milk as a short-term fix

he used to use it as a kid. Poor Mormon family with 9 kids
