I have a set of Mavic cxp 10's, double walled,36 spokes, mounted to shimano rsx hubs,(they came as original equipment on an old cannondale R500 that I've long since re-equipped). I tip the scales at a meager 270#. I'd like to use these on a bike I'm planning to ride on some packed blast paths, such as rails-to-trails paths or some old canal tow paths. I'm planning to run about a 32-35 tire with a moderate tread. But, I'm a little concerned since I can't seem to find any info on how strong these wheels are. So, I thought I'd run the idea by the clydes collective to see what kind of feed back I get.
