Bikes: Gazelle Trim Trophy, EG Bates Track Bike, HR Bates Cantiflex bike, Nigel Dean fixed gear conversion, Raleigh Royal, Falcon Westminster.

The only reason I'd do this is if a correct length cable is not available, and that only seems to be the case with Sturmey Archer tandem cables.
