I was doing some looking around and saw a lot of people recommend Surly Cross Checks. Is there any way I could build one cheaply?
Cross Check frame set is about $400. Unless you can get all the parts for free you are not even close to budget. I've been watching them sell on eBay and even the used ones go for mid threes.
