I dare say that sounds inviting. Incedentally, I also have a Schwinn Voyageur II in your size here now - I'll probably fix it up and keep it in store in case you do happen to drop by in Miami sometime.

Funny you should mention that, for I did consider aluminum fenders at first, but decided to go with the Club Specials when they came about. I'm not too keen on black bottle cages though, so it'll probably be swapped with something in polished aluminum or steel, along with another on the bottom of the downtube (there are a pair of braze-ons down there as well).

Well, I always store my bikes in the small-small to minimize cable strech, but yes - I make sure all of my machines, triples or not, will run perfectly in every gear combination.

Yes - 47cm chainstays if I recall correctly...or longer. Specially ordered 531 by Trek when these were made.
