I'm a year-rounder woman. It's great because it pretty much eliminates any moron from trying to pull the "I'm a big strong man" chestbeating **** on me. I wonder if the lower numbers for women are in part because they tend to end up with more of the child care responsibilities in a relationship, hoofing kids around and whatnot.
