Bikes: Raptor Bicycles... Fully custom carbon bikes... just the way you want them!

New bike build... recommendations?

I will be picking up a brand new "Project One" Trek Madone 5.5SL on thursday and doing a build.

It is a full Dura-Ace groupset, other than the Ultegra 12-25 cassette (which I will replace, see below).

I weighed it several weeks ago at the LBS, with no pedals or cages and it weighed 16.5 pounds on the hanging scale. I'd like to make it noticeably lighter...

So....

I'll be removing the following parts:

Bontrager Race Lite wheelset (1690g)

Bontrager Race X Lite seat post (200g)

Bontrager Select seat post clamp (40g)

Bontrager Race Lite OS handle bars (230g)

Bontrager Race Lite saddle (215g)

Bontrager Race aluminum stem cap (14g)

Bontrager Race Lite stem (165g)

Shimano Ultegra 12-25 cassette

Shimano Ultegra chain

Trek stainless steel cage bolts 4 = (28g)

Bontrager Race X Lite tires

Bontrager aluminum skewers (124g) pair

-----------------------------------------------------

I'll be installing these replacement parts:

Fulcrum Racing Zero clinchers (1484g)

Bontrager Race XXX Lite seat post (170g)

BTP carbon seat post clamp (8g)

Bontrager Race X Lite carbon handlebars (230g) only for looks and anatomic bend which I prefer

Bontrager Race X Lite saddle (205g)

Bontrager Race XXX Lite 110mm stem (130g)

Pro Carbon stem cap (7.6g)

Pro Carbon Ultra Light cages (32g)

Pro Carbon titanium cage bolts (8g)

Pro Carbon titanium stem cap bolt

Dura-Ace 12-25 or 12-27 cassette

Dura-Ace chain

Pro Carbon titanium skewers (54g) pair

Chris King headset

Look Keo Carbon Ti pedals (190g)

I realize other than the wheels, I'm nickle and diming the gram reductions, but they do add up, right?

My goal is to have a sub 16 pound bike. If the above reductions/additions don't get me there, what else should I consider? I am trying not to get too crazy (don't want to go to tubulars or even more expensive wheels, for instance). I would go for an even lighter saddle... but... it would need to provide a certain amount of comfort (most of the really light saddles I've tried are really uncomfortable for me).

Anything else I could change out to make my bike lighter without breaking the bank other than losing a few pounds myself?
