Yes! I had a Schwinn Stingray from my childhood. It was custom rattle can painted with Honda stickers where the imagined gas tank would be. This was my bicycle motocross bike from the early '70's and I went everywhere and raced and jumped everything with it. I used it in college for a great campus cruiser, jumping curbs and everything to get to class. I loved it but found a poor family, who lived next to my girlfriend, with a couple of kids. I handed the bike over to them one day and the looks on their faces was memorable. I never saw it again as the school year was over, girlfriend moved, etc...Oddly I don't care what happened to it, that moment of glory (for me and the bike) was all I needed.
