Obviously they need someone to lead them. They are but sheep.
And as far as just ignoring them... yeah, I've tried that too... For years and years I didn't bother... and yet the motorists just kept on asking/telling me the wrong things... so it was obvious that they needed answers.
Why do you care if they need answers? Why not keep ignoring them?
Why don't you just ignore the stripes?
I do ignore the stripes when I'm riding. I have more important things to pay attention to, and answering motorist questions certainly is not among them.
