it would probably depend on how old your wheels are... a lot of the time a pro wheel builder will do a rebuild but won't guarentee it because the rims and hubs may have some flaws in them so that should be a deciding factor if there is damage to the rim or the hubs the replace them or just rebuild them. cost me about 400 the last time i had a set built but that was a set of road wheels with mavic rims and ultegra hubs.. and a streight 11-18 cassette and several years ago. i wanted to go fast... LOL check with your wheel builder and get his opinion on the hubs and rims and then find a second and get his opinion. the bike school i attended never recommended a rebuild using the same hubs.. but if they are in good shape go for it
