Hi, I just got my first carbon frame but to keep the cost down I got shimono 105 components and cheap wheels. In fact I have mavric Aksium wheels and I was wondering if I would see a nice enough benefit, and if so what kind, if I jumped up to their Ksyrium ssc sl wheels. It's a big jump in price and was wondering if it was worth it, or if i should invest the money in better components and wider handlebars because i am kind of broad. Even though I haven't had any problems with my handlebars, the farthest I have rode at one time was 35 miles, but am planning on doing a couple of centuries and maybe even start racing for my college next year. Therefore, I want to get faster and more efficient. Feel free to suggest any other wheel sets you think are better or anything that you think will make my bike faster besides me training harder--- I already know that. lol thank you! oh and id like to keep it below 800-900 for the wheels and 700 if u think i need to get other stuff ty again
