I assume it'll be good for any road wheels?
Yes, I recently bought one of these and it's well worth the money. It is lightweight, and you have to take more care using it than a heavy weight model. If you are doing lots of wheel building and truing, I'd advise getting a heavier and more expensive model, but this is great for occasional use and miles better than truing wheels on the bike using a brake pad as a guide.

The instructions are good and should be read regardless of your level of experience.

Road wheels work great.
