OK....What the $%#@ is up with this??
I walk into my LBS with the intention of taking advantage of the clothing sale they have on... I have been at this biking thing long enuff I should start to look the part right?
I scour thru all the jerseys and stumble across the LBS sponsored one... I think to myself " Self....this LBS has been good to me...perhaps I will fly their colours" I pick thru the "S"'s the "M"'s the "L"'s finally ...wait...whats this.... an "XL" wow am I in luck...thats what size of shirt I comfortably fit into...allittle baggy but close enuff in most cases....
But perhaps I will keep poking thru the rest...after all these things fit like a glove...and I could use alittle extra room for my man boobs (herin reffered to as moobs).....now I didn't expect to find much considering everything was 60% off......but low and behold another jersey ..peeking out at me was a tag......"XXXL" thats right 3X....now without giving away too much...there are only a few times that XXX enters my life....and this is neither the time nor the place to discuss that any further....
XXXL......."well I won't completly rule it out.....I'll try it on for *****s and giggles"
On goes the Xl.....well let me tell you.....I didn't even get the zipper up past my navel....not because I didn't want to ...but because I started to hear and feel stiching come loose....."How can this be...its an XL??" sheepishly I removed it hoping the three toothpick LBS workers didn't notice !! Ok well here goes nothing.....on goes the XXXL....What in the $%#@ I felt like sardines in a can.......I haven't put on a shirt this tight since a weird night in Mexico with a midget named Ron ...a 10 year old donkey and a case of Tequila.... How can this not fit...its 3X.....and I fit a L-XL....in most of my daily clothing......
Now I figured that a jersey will be alittle tighter...and I thought I compensated for it going up a size...but at this rate...I should be looking for a 7X....
Just wondering whats up with that....and what size jerseys are you guys in the 230 plus range wearing to look cool...??
