My wife humored me by going on a Vermont Bike tour once and a couple of bike-and-barge tours in the Netherlands, but she really doesn't like riding on public roads around here. She hasn't ridden in several years now and we compromise by walking/hiking a lot. I don't want to sound sexist, but many couples I see out riding seem to be mismatched ability/strength-wise. Except for casual riding, that would be frustrating for all concerned.
