Actually....

My s.o. and I got in an argument over the weekend because he wants me to <i>GIVE</i> him one of my pair of Sidi shoes. I have two pair, and one is over sized for winter and wool socks. I put them away in the summer and they will last for years and years.

After explaining about 50 times that the cleat, the angle, the fit are perfect for me and he should get his own pair so he can be comfortable too, he just doesn't get it.

After five minutes he said I don't need all the jerseys, bikes, shoes because "you're not a cyclist."
It escalated into the second worst fight we've had in nine years.

Luckily, being a cyclist makes it possible for me to have about three frame pumps. I think I'll give one of them to him... Now if I could only think of the best time to present it to him.
