It's not the putting it in that is messing. It's when I tap the valve to unseat it for pumping up the tires. The valve has a little Slime in the tube that squirts out and makes a mess, albeit a small mess but a mess all the same.

Lots of people use Slime and swear by it. I'm just not one of them.
