Your kinda limited on your route choices. Coming from Mesquite, Beltline/Broadway to Rowlett Rd to Hwy 66 is your best bet into Rockwall, all 4 lane roads so you arent going to be feel cramped. There is construction at Rowlett rd and hwy 66, but there are roads around it.
It is a lot trickier getting to Terrel from Mesquite. the service road does end before you get into Forney along 80. And the service road ends after Lawson on 20 as well. Thas a good problem to solve. I like solving these kinds of problems
