I once realized I'd forgotten my pants after I'd ridden 18 miles into a commute during a rainy winter day. Ain't nothing like wearing sopping wet cold neoprene tights all day. Some mistakes you only make once.
After that, I made sure I kept a spare set of everything at work. I've used all the spare stuff at least once.
