That is one of the most ridiculous positions I have heard through this entire scandal ridden year. Ullrich's medals are for individual achievements and should only be stripped for his individual culpability. It is irrelevant what his team mates were doing unless it somehow shows hows that he too was doping at that time. The only relevant question to whether those medals should be stripped and reissued is whether the WADA system can show that Ullrich himself was doping DURING THE 2000 OLYMPICS. It is very likely that he was doping at that time and it is probable that no one can prove it now.

This kind of over-reaction and prejudging is ridiculous and should alienate fans of the sport. Doping is a bane of sport but this kind of hyperbole is just about as bad.
