Here's my two - I divide my time between a my current affectation, taking a hard nose/hard tail mountain bike and converting it to pavement and packed trail riding - a 1993 Bianchi Nyala:
and my love for the traditional - a 1969 Dutch Magneet Sprint, a typical low level pre-Bike Boom mass market bike upgraded for long distance running. Yes, I'm still a believer in steel cottered cranks, although I'm starting to look for a three ring TA setup:
