It is a love it or hate it thing, I know, but I have a weakness for GTs from my mountain biking days so couldn't pass up this frame when I saw it. It is
very stiff but I like that, so I have no complaints. I should probably put a carbon fork on it or something but the carbon seat post softens things up a bit.
Mine is a '98 and I don't believe there was much distinction between the different years. They are no longer in production and I believe that the last year was 2002 but I am not 100% sure of that. However, if Schwinn brought back the Madison, you never know....

Dunno what original MSRP was but the guy on eBay was slinging his NIB Pulses for 1050$USD and he sold them all. This was about 6 months ago and he had about 5 or so.
