I like the concrete better, personally. But I guess grass would be ok if no concrete was available. I remember seeing a hockey rink recently that wasn't being used and it made me think "this would be great for polo". Of course now I have no clue where that was.
The rink at Jimmie Simpson park (Queen and Logan) is always empty and would be great for some polo. It's set back and out of the way so people forget it is there in the summer... heck people forget about it in the winter and it's always wide open.
