I still find the idea that cold stretching is bad questionable.
However, I stretch in between the morning and afternoon commute. Is this cold stretching since I have had my morning 28 miles or not?
If I do all my stretches immediately after my am ride, my back will tighten up like crazy that afternoon. Spreading the stretches out results in no back issues.
