WARNING: RACIAL STEREOTYPE INSIDE

Today was hot and sticky. Thank god for the eBike.

There were lots of bikes out today. Several hot looking younger women as well. I ran into a group of about 20 young girls using up the entire MUP. That's the first time I had to deal with bicycle traffic congestion. Interesting.

Now I know this will come off as a bit racist but any experienced driver/rider in Toronto will instantly understand this one: Asian woman, beige Toyota Corrolla. Did you cringe when you read that? Well, I saw the most stupid act of driving this morning.

I'm heading down the MUP and I see the Asian woman driving a beige Corolla coming up to the stop line from the left. She's driving down the road I'm about to cross. The light is green for me along burnhamthorpe, a 6 lane major artery. She's on a small two lane road and she has a red light. It's a good thing the "Asian woman in a Corolla" alarm went off inside my head because she stopped right in the crosswalk but then she got off the brake and kept going into the intersection... ON THE RED LIGHT. Just then is when I cross the intersection, behind her, and I'm looking for the backup lights to go on. They don't. So I yell... "Wake the F**K up!". She stops right there in the middle of the intersection blocking off the middle and rightmost lanes of the westbound traffic. And she doesn't even back up! Cars are screeching to a halt, horns are blazing and this stupid woman is just sitting there in the intersection. As I pedal away, I saw her backing up.

Totally ********! Too bad my video camera's back at home being recharged!

Note to self: Always recharge the camera overnight!
