I've noticed this too. I drink a lot more coffee at work on days I don't ride in, trying to wake myself up. Then I get jittery and cranky. It isn't pretty!
I think I'm OK for the summer, but I'm going to have to play a lot of little tricks on myself to stay motivated through the fall and winter, so I am watching this thread with interest.
