Though based quite a ways from you, check out the Jersey Shore Touring Society (
http://www.jsts.us/) if you are planning to ride in Monmouth/Ocean counties. I'm a member and ride with them, and they've regularly scheduled rides from A+ to D categories.
I've never ridden with the CJBC, but I think they're one of the biggest bike club's in the state.
