I have Erilium 2s on my beater bike. Yeah, they're heavy, but I've never flatted on them...unlike some conti's I've had. But, the conti's were something cheap like super sports, not gators, so no direct comparison here.
The eriliums don't corner all that well, either, FWIW, but the price is right and they last fairly long.
