That's it. Did they make these things even back in the 80s? Thanks a lot for the pointer, BTW. I guess the Japanese-Korean in me instantly bonded to the bike .

By the way, I wonder why is it I feel so much more stable on 700C (be it road or MTB) wheels than 26". I heard some people mention the bigger moment of inertia, but that can be achieved with heavier wheels on the 26", too, so, the physics of this don't seem obvious to me. Maybe it's a psychological thing.
I'll also add that another benefit is lighter wheels as well as stronger, and in the city, it definitely saves space and therefore can be more maneuverable in traffic, as well.

wroomwroom, I don't know if you've only ridden 26" wheels on MTBs, but if so, then there's the fact that MTBs put you higher, which itself would lessen your stability.
